We got to experience this during Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur Annual Christmas Lighting Ceremony. This annually event started years ago and it was officiated by Yang Berbahaggia Dato’ Ammar Abd Ghapar, Senior Director of Tourism Malaysia alongside His Excellency Mr. Petri Juhani Puhakka, Ambassador of the Republic of Finland to Malaysia.

What made this event special was that the 20 feet tall Christmas tree carried 50 golden starts with the name, gender and age of children from the Paediatric Oncology Unit of Kuala Lumpur General Hospital. This is under the ‘A Star for a Child’, a Grand Millennium CSR initiative. Not only that, gifts was placed under the tree and was personally hand-delivered on the 20^th December, 2016 to the kids.
